One of the strangest most surreal and eerie places that I ve ever accidentally disovered....


Deep in the Essex countryside lies a vast underground nuclear bunker now on requesitioned farmland. An old farm building is the disguised entrance to this vast labyrinth of  subterranean control rooms and living quarters designed for the government and PM during a nuclear attack.

Goats and hens roam around above but on entering the old farm building you realise it is all a facade and behind it is a huge door and long paasgeway leading to the fisrt level of the bunker.

It is truly an unforgettably eerie experience...

And hey thanks parliament for keeping it a secret for forty years...
